“The Wildlife Lodge was established in July 2007. This non-profit organisation is not a registered charity, due to the expected annual income of the charity. For this reason, the Charity Commission feel no need to register. We are still entitled to all that registered charities are entitled to, but we have no need to declare ourselves to the charity commission.”

Founder: Lauren Smith - Lauren is a veterinary nurse, who has worked in the animal industry for nearly 7 years now. She currently works at a Veterinary Surgery in Beckenham, Kent. She has a large number of contacts in the veterinary and animal charity sector, who are more than willing to provide help and assistance when needed.

Co-founder: Andy Callaghan - Andy, Lauren's partner, is the Administrator, Treasurer and PR Representative. Andy does not work in the animal industry, but he also helps out with the wildlife, as well as doing all the behind the scenes work.

We are also members of the British Wildlife Rehabilitation Council and the European Wildlife Rehabilitation Association. We are also registered carers for the British Hedgehog Preservation Society.
